Cookie policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This cookie policy explains what Myth Index stores on your device when you visit narcissus-little-meringue.shop, what each item is for, and how to change your choice or remove it. We store as little as possible, and anything optional stays off until you turn it on. For personal information more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser. Your browser returns them to the site on later visits, which is how a site can recognize a browser it has seen before.
Local storage and session storage are browser features that let a website keep small pieces of information on your device. Unlike cookies, they are not sent to our server with each page request. Local storage remains until it is cleared; session storage is erased when you close the tab or window.
To keep things simple, "cookies" in this policy includes local and session storage.
What we use
Two entries are strictly necessary for the site to work. They do not identify you, and we do not share them with anyone. We do not use advertising cookies, social media plugins, tracking pixels or third-party fonts, and no other cookies are placed.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ca5-consent | Stores your cookie choice, so we do not ask on every page | Necessary · local storage | Until you clear it; we ask again after 12 months |
| Opening-animation flag | Shows the opening animation only once per visit | Necessary · session storage | Until you close the tab or browser |
Changing or withdrawing your consent
When you first arrive, a banner asks for your preference. Necessary storage cannot be switched off, because it is what lets the site remember your answer. Everything else is off by default.
You can review or change your choice at any time with the button below, or with the cookie settings link in the footer of every page:
A new choice takes effect immediately. If you withdraw consent, no new analytics data is collected from that point, but cookies already on your device remain until they expire or you delete them yourself, as explained in the next section. We keep your choice for 12 months and then ask again.
Declining has no downside: every article and page works the same way with necessary storage alone. Because your choice is saved in your browser rather than in an account, you will be asked again on a different device or browser, or after you clear your data.
Clearing cookies and storage in your browser
You can delete everything Myth Index has stored whenever you like. Deleting the cookies and site data for narcissus-little-meringue.shop also clears its local storage, and the banner will reappear on your next visit. Menu labels differ slightly between browser versions, but in general:
- Chrome and Edge: while viewing narcissus-little-meringue.shop, select the icon to the left of the web address, open the cookies or site data settings and delete the data stored.
- Firefox: select the padlock in the address bar, then "Clear cookies and site data".
- Safari on Mac: go to Settings, then Privacy, then "Manage Website Data", search for narcissus-little-meringue.shop and remove it.
- Safari on iPhone and iPad: open the Settings app, then Safari (found under Apps on recent versions), then Advanced, then Website Data.
Private or incognito windows erase their storage automatically when closed. You can also set your browser to block cookies and site storage entirely. The articles will still load, but the site will not be able to remember your preference, so the banner will appear each time.
